The Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust (CTET) is delighted to host the ground-breaking and much acclaimed seminar ‘The Embryo in Us’ with Dr. Jaap van der Wal from March 30th to April 2nd 2023. This seminar can be attended in-person in London or via Zoom and is open to all. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how the shaping of the body as an embryo demonstrates keys aspects of human spiritual development. The seminar will open up new perceptions and strategies that participants can use with clients. All those registered will have access to a range of class resources and articles, and access to a video recording of the seminar for review. This is a great chance to learn directly from a world authority on a modern scientific and spiritual understanding of embryology.

Key topics explored will include:

· The Undivided Embryo — the embryo’s incarnation in the body

· The Polarity Embryo — various aspects of the growing embryo, including its nature as an organism and cellular differentiation, and how this relates to the ‘Breath of Life’

· The Threefold Embryo — including the rhythmic segmentation of the body, the incarnation process of the heart, interaction and innerness

· The Universal Embryo — the evolving embryo and how this process can speak to the interaction between mind and body

· Perspectives about fascia — Dr. van der Wal will include an overview of his ground-breaking research into fascia — the organ of ‘innerness’

Craniosacral practitioners have found that understanding embryological organising forces is key to the biodynamic approach because the same forces that formed the body are continuously at work throughout life. Here is a quote from the new edition of ‘Wisdom In The Body’ by Craniosacral Therapy teacher Michael Kern:

“Embryology is not just something that happened at the start of our lives; it continues throughout our lifespan. We are constantly being created. This is how a great source of health and healing can be found, as the body is in a constant state of creation, maintenance and repair. The highly organised forces that created us during our embryological development continue to maintain and heal us throughout our lives. Consequently, even so-called ‘incurable’ diseases can sometimes be healed, if the conditions that allow this can be established.”
